We had a luau themed BBQ on Saturday and we had quite a few people come. Even
Miss Magoo's Grandma and cousin Amy came! Amy is home for the summer from
Scotland, she is attending Vet school there. The weather was perfect and everyone
had a great time! We rented a bouncy house for the kids and they loved it! Even
one adult or should I say big kid, Ron thought it was pretty fun too! See pictures
above. :)
Miss Magoo's Papa out did himself with the BBQ Huli Huli chicken and Hawaiian
pork, there was so much good food! Thanks to everyone who came and brought
the yummy food!
We hope everyone had a good time, I know we did!
On Sunday after we went to church, we went to Leavenworth (it's set up like a
Bavarian village) for the afternoon and walked around and did some shopping.
It was hot, hot, hot! But we enjoyed it all the same. Amy went back home to
California on Monday and poor Miss Magoo was not happy when we dropped
her off at the airport. She didn't have a crying fit, but big tears welled up in her
eyes and she just got so sad. It broke my heart to see her like that. We stopped
at the store on the way home from the airport and when Cecil got her out of the
van, she said, "my Amy" with the saddest face ever, bless her heart. Amy made
a big impact on Camie while she was here. This is only the 2nd time Amy has seen
her. So I promised Camie she could call Amy today when she got up from her nap.
