Can you say, yum?

Miss Magoo has a new favorite food, peanut butter toast!

It always fascinates me what she chooses to like or not like. There is not much of anything she doesn't like, but this one seems to be her most favorite, for now. :)

She absolutely loves peanut butter! She'll eat it any way she can get it, whether its on toast or on a spoon.

Her other favorite foods include, black olives, cauliflower, vegetables except for green beans, not her favorite. She loves any type of cabbage or lettuce. Also, any type of fruit she can get her hands on. But oranges, grapes and strawberries are her favorites. She prefers ham and pork over chicken and beef.

Of course there are the staples, white sticky rice and chow mein, she can never get too much of either of these. She will even try and use chopsticks when eating these two things. She even likes green tea. I just love that these things are still a part of her diet.

So Miss Magoo is getting the best of both worlds of East and West and we continue to try new things. Next up, brussels sprouts! Can you imagine? She will probably love them since she likes cabbage. We'll see. :)

A Weekend of Yard Sales

Well we had 2 weekends of yard sales and the 1st weekend went really well!

Miss Magoo had a blast being outside with us all day, playing in our gravel driveway. This is a girl that doesn't mind getting dirty, as long as her hands don't get anything on them, that is. :)

We also found out what a great imagination she has too. She actually took a piece of the card board we gave her and came up with a horse (that's her riding the horse in the picture) and with the other pieces she made a car! I am always so amazed at how her mind works and what she is capable of.

We had or should I say tried to have another sale this Saturday. We were set up for a couple of hours and then the rain, actually the hail started. We made a mad scramble to get everything covered and put away. Nothing like a little, ok a lot of rain, to get the job of putting things away go quickly. :)

We have decided not to try today. A. because of the weather and B. because we aren't going to miss church today. We missed it last week and I for one need to go this week and as much fun as Miss Magoo had, she loves to go to church even more. :)

We had our church pancake breakfast and egg hunt this morning and Miss Magoo had a great time! She couldn't pick up the eggs fast enough. :)

Papa volunteered to make pancakes for the masses and all on his birthday, bless his heart!

Tomorrow we'll be going to church and then coming home and having a lovely Easter dinner.

May we all reflect on this very special day and what Jesus did for us. I'm still in awe.
