I wanted to write about Miss Magoo's Grandpa since it would have been his birthday today.
I have recently started talking with her about him so she can know he was.
He was someone who loved to put on a party, whether it was a dinner party, Halloween or Christmas (his favorite.) He loved to cook, paint and work with wood. He was a a master Do-It-Yourself-er. I can't tell you how many times we remodeled houses and moved. Okay, probably not as many times as it seemed, moving that is. :)
I know for a fact, he would have loved Miss Magoo! He would have spoiled her big time! :)
Right after we got TA (travel approval) to bring Miss Magoo home, he came to me in a dream. We were having a party, a BBQ, and I remember turning around and there he was! He said, "It's time, already?" I said, "Yep, it's time!" He got the biggest smile on his face and he was gone.
Although he has been gone almost 11 years now (next month) I know he's watching over her.
