Just had to share that Camie is no longer in Speech Therapy!We had her evaluated by early intervention through our school system and they thought she wouldn't be taking it for very long but would work with her anyway.
To make a long story short, she had all of one session. She let us know that she wanted to get Camie up to a four word sentence and be able to tell us a little story. We had to cancel the 2nd session and by the 3rd session Camie said her first 4 word sentence!
It was, "right here with me." She was referring to where her baby brother Camden will be sleeping when he comes home. How adorable is that!?
The ST let me know that she had no problem with not continuing with Camie, since she was well on her way. She said that, they expect a child to put 2 words together by the time they are two and 3 words together by the time they are three. Here Camie is able to put 4 words together and she only 2 1/2.
Thank you God for watching over our little girl and giving her the blessing to be able to form her words.
