6 months with Mister

6 months ago today we were in Fuzhou China anticipating the arrival of our new son!

We were greeted by a whirlwind of a little boy running up and down the hallway.

Our guide says, "this is your son."  We were just beside ourselves with excitement as we had to chase him down.  He had so much energy (and still does.)

From the minute we had him, he was as comfortable with us as we were with him.

I kept thinking, oh he is going to keep me on my toes and he has. :)

It seems like we have had him forever and hard to believe that only 6 months has gone by.

He continually amazes us with his spirit and tenacity for everything he does.

He is all boy and lights up any time he sees trucks, trains, buses.  Anything that is big, you know all the boy stuff!

I can't get over how strong he is.  To watch him pull himself up on to a chair, or the couch or to climb up a slide.  It simply amazes me.

Mister turned 2 after we got him home and boy is he 2!  He loves to touch everything that he can get his hand on.

He is also a cuddle bug.  Loves to be rocked.  He has bonded with all of us, but especially loves his big brother Jacob.  He cries so hard every time Jacob leaves. 

Mister gets on with Miss Magoo and of course they have their moments like ALL brothers and sisters do.

We have been so blessed to have Mister as part of our family and can't wait to see what the next 6 months will bring.
